In conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA 2019), we proudly presents a special workshop on Computational Cardiology and Medical Instrumentation which will be held at:

Place

Meeting room, Engineering Physics Department, Institut Teknologi Bandung
Gd. TP. Rachmat (Labtek VI), 2 Floor, ITB Ganesha Campus, Jl. Ganesha no 10, Bandung.

Time

Wednesday, July 31th 2019 08.30 – 12.00 Western Indonesian Time

This workshop will be delivered by our distinguished guess: Prof. Natalia Trayanova of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. Prof. Trayanova is a Murray B. Sachs Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. She is known for her groundbreaking work on pioneering the computational model of cardiac system. Her research focuses on understanding the pathological electrophysiological and electromechanical behavior of the heart, with emphasis on the mechanisms for cardiac arrhythmogenesis and pump dysfunction. Importantly, Trayanova’s work also has a strong translational component, which centers on improving the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

further details on her works and achievements, please refer to her videos at the end of this post and of course check her laboratory’s website here.

Our laboratory’s head, Dr. Suprijanto, also will presenting about our current works and research on medical instrumentation. His lecture will cover not only about the latest progress on development of pre-clinical ultrasound-based evaluation system but also our recent work related to the modeling and simulation towards improvement of medical treatment planning method.

If you are interested, please register (fee: 150,000 IDR for student / 300,000 IDR for non-student) yourself at
